Based on my sources (reliability to be assessed), there is going to be a BIG announcement coming from ANZ in Jun’24.
Something about a big restructure and relocating lots of BAU roles to India.
Does anyone know more?
I heard a lot of outsourcing to India. I’m not sure what areas or departments. Have you heard?

ANZ Jun’24. Restructure. All BAUs roles will be moved to an ANZ finance insider. This doesn’t necessarily mean jobs will be cut though, just new jobs outsourced. Project work can still be hired from Australia.

It’s spill and fill. Roles are going to India to save on costs. I’m not sure when exactly.
is it confirmed? what departments are affected?
I think something like 1/3 of the roles in finance will be “restructured” and relocated to India.
